Software

DDUtil provides support for the following software packages.

N1MM

N1MM is used just like any other RCP connected to DDUtil. When using N1MM (v11.4 or later) there are Flex radio selections that allows SO2V operation when using any of the Flex radios and works very nicely.

Setup

Virtual Serial Port Program

• Create three (3) port pairs (if not existing)
  Note - One end of all three (3) pair must be <= Com16

WriteLog Ports Setup menu

• Assign one end of a virtual port pair to Radio 1 and select Rig Type = Kenwood.
• Assign one end of a virtual port pair to Radio 2 and select Rig Type = Kenwood.
• In CW Keyer Type select PC Generates
• In SO2R Control select Open 2 Radio SP.
• Assign one end of a virtual port pair to the SO2R Control port.

DDUtil RCP tab

• Using any of the ports for RCP 2,3,4, 5 or 6 select the companion port that is connected to the Radio 1 port in WriteLog port setup.
• Using the Log 2 port select the companion port that is connected to the Radio 2 port in WriteLog port setup.
• Using the Log 3 port select the companion port that is connected to the SO2R Device port in WriteLog port setup.
