KPA1500

General

The Elecraft KPA-1500 amplifier is capable of a full 1500 watts of RF power and also contains a fully automatic antenna tuner. DDUtil supports the necessary functions to power on/off and operate this amp remotely with-in your shack. See the following section for a description of DDUtil supported functionality.

Controls

PWR - Toggles Mains Power on/off.
Temp - Displays PA temp (press to toggle F/C)
I - Displays PA current.
E - Displays PA Volts.
Fan - Press to step through (set) Minimum cooling fans speed. Does not indicate actual fan speed which is controlled by PA temperature.
ATU - Toggles ATU in-line or bypassed.
Tune - Press to initiate ATU tune cycle.
Ant - Press to select (toggle) amplifier output antenna (1|2).
Mode - Press to toggle amplifier mode (Operate/Standby).
Reset - Press to reset amplifier fault.
Info Window - Displays Select Amplifier Information and Amplifier Error Messages. Double-click to erase.
